The six high-quality all-weather tennis courts at the Pretoria Country Club are situated next to the Club’s beautiful lake and are surrounded by lawns, flower beds and trees. A more beautiful setting is hard to imagine. Bird life and guinea fowl add to the charm of the environment. Six floodlit courts provide the opportunity to play tennis after sunset. And after a good session of social tennis, what better way to relax than with refreshments in the tennis clubhouse?

The tennis committee controls the affairs of the tennis section. For those interested in competitive tennis, the committee arranges the annual Club championships, various round robin tournaments, and the annual veterans’ tournament.

The tennis clubhouse, lapa and boma have recently been refurbished and may be rented by Club members. The facilities include a kitchen, cutlery, crockery and bathrooms. Forty people can be accommodated, and the facilities are the perfect venue for smaller birthday celebrations and family events. Enquiries can be made at reception.
